Travel advice from A - Z
A carefully put-together first-aid kit should be part of your luggage on every trip and tailored to your specific journey.
Please visit us at the pharmacy four to six weeks before your departure. The easiest way is to bring your old travel medicines with you straight away. We will check their expiry dates. Depending on your destination, we will supplement your first-aid kit with the necessary medicines. When putting it together, we take your individual needs into account and provide you with a detailed travel dossier, including advice.
When travelling to tropical countries, the requirements for a first-aid kit are considerably more complex. Furthermore, specific vaccinations often need to be caught up on for these trips. We will provide you with recommendations regarding vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, etc. for your destination.
Final notes:
It is essential to take sufficient quantities of all medication required for ongoing treatment and this should be carried in your hand luggage.
Vaccinations should always be planned well in advance, as immunity does not take effect immediately. Malaria medication cannot be obtained without a doctor’s prescription.
