Morning after pill

The risk of becoming pregnant after a contraceptive failure is usually 5.5 percent. However, it can be reduced to as little as 0.9% by taking the morning-after pill.

If your contraceptive method has failed, you have missed a contraceptive pill, a condom has torn, unprotected sexual intercourse has occurred, or a diaphragm has become displaced, it may still be possible to prevent an unintended pregnancy.

Following a consultation with one of our pharmacists, we will assess whether emergency contraception (the morning-after pill) is suitable for you and, if appropriate, provide it. As with all consultations in our pharmacy, the discussion is subject to professional confidentiality and will be treated with the utmost discretion.
