Blood sugar test
Factors such as family history, a lack of exercise and being overweight can affect your blood sugar levels. A single drop of blood is all it takes to measure your blood sugar. A blood sugar test will tell you whether you are at risk of developing diabetes.
We will measure your random blood sugar level; this can be done either on an empty stomach or after eating. This test will indicate whether your blood sugar levels are elevated and whether this could lead to complications such as insulin resistance.
