The natural decongestant nasal spray with multiple benefits
The SANACURA® nasal spray, a medical device, acts locally, cleanses the nasal cavities and helps to reduce swelling and inflammation. It contains no vasoconstrictive substances and is therefore a well-tolerated product; frequent use does not lead to habituation or pose a risk of medication-induced rhinitis.
Indications:
SANACURA® Nasal Spray is used as an adjunctive treatment for:
- Seasonal rhinitis (colds and allergies)
- Sinusitis and inflammation
- Following surgical procedures and exposure to external irritants
2.2% hypertonic seawater solution from Brittany = Strongly decongestant and deep-cleansing
Upon contact with the swollen nasal mucosa, the hypertonic solution draws out excess nasal secretions via osmosis, thins the accumulated viscous mucus and thus restores the oedematous cells to their original state. Reducing the viscosity of the mucus improves mucociliary clearance and aids the removal of viruses, bacteria, pollen, and macro- and microparticles.
Plant extracts and essential oils
Blackcurrant extract = Soothing effect
Known for its soothing, calming and ‘cortisone-like’ effect. The glycerine contained in the extract plays an important role in maintaining the moisture balance of the mucous membranes.
Aloe vera dry extract = Protective and moisturising effect
The polysaccharides it contains form a fine film on the mucous membrane, which protects it from irritants and microorganisms whilst also moisturising it.
Mountain pine essential oil = soothing effect
Inhaling mountain pine essential oil loosens mucus, thereby facilitating its expulsion.
Organic essential oil from Australian tea tree = Purifying effect
The main effect of Australian tea tree essential oil is to purify by combating bacteria, viruses and fungi. Australian tea tree oil also helps to reduce inflammatory cells.
Organic lemon essential oil = Purifying effect
Protects against external influences such as microbes and bacteria.
Sanacura forte and Sanacura soft – what are the differences?
Whilst Sanacura forte, with its 2.2% seawater solution, is designed more for acute symptoms, Sanacura soft, with its 1.1% seawater solution, is gentler and focuses more on moisturising, caring for and protecting the nasal mucosa. Both products can be used to help manage seasonal rhinitis. Neither contains vasoconstrictors, nor do they cause habituation or dependence (rebound effect).
